ThornProducts' patent pending technology allows Electricity Usage Monitoring to be imbedded in electric sockets, switches, etc with simple, reliable communication to the building receiver-gateway. This reduces cost of individually monitoring all electrical usage in the home/business for providing actionable feedback to the user for conservation and cost savings results of 10% or more. These more mass deployable devices can increase overall seen by the Electric Utility conservation than the spot deployment enabled by existing products.
Company Background:
ThrornProducts is a Florida LLC that has switched 100% to developing and marketing this new technology in late 2009. We are in the development phase and products wil become available in 2011.
The company was accepted into Florida's Technology Research and Development Authority (TRDA) high tech business incubator in early 2010.

Management:
Founder Dave Thorn has 30 years experience and has been through several successful startup telecommunication companies at the Director, VP and CEO levels. Dave's successes have included multiple developments of large SW/HW telecom systems deployed worldwide along with operations of worldwide telecom special service systems.
Co-Founder and CTO Kent has also been through several successful startup telecommunication companies as Director, VP and CEO and multiple management positions. Successes have included large telecommunication development and sales projects.
Dave and Kent's experience includes setting up and managing all departments of development and manufacturing companies with exception of Finance and direct sales.
Marketing partner Paul Greenis has over 25 years experience in international marketing and sales of wireless communications products for Harris, Skydata Inc (a Harris spin-out in joint partnership with Matra Marconi /Samsung), and a co-inventor of Cognitive Radio technology for Adapt4.
CFO and other expertise currently sought to augment the team.
